A new addition for an 1840s captain’s house

Owning an antique home has its rewards, but an 1840s floorpan doesn’t accommodate the way we live today. Fortunately the lot was large enough to add square footage to the house. The addition includes a new entertaining/living area adjacent to the kitchen and a new powder room. The contractor was J.C. Donald Co. Orleans Mass.
