As with most older Cape-style homes, the kitchen had been a separate room tucked away in a corner, and it doubled as a route to the garage. We removed the wall between the old kitchen and the dining room and reconfigured the expanded space for two-person cooking, with new appliances and plenty of storage.
The expanse of the new kitchen was mitigated with a new extractor fan with a dropped ceiling treatment.
Counters are quartz throughout
The old breezeway was turned into a powder room, mud room and a laundry.
